The ACE C18-Amide phase is a polar-embedded amide phase, with an extended spacer between the amide functional group and the silica surface which provides improved stability compared to other commercial amide-type phases and a C18 chain on the terminal end. 

The ACE C18-Amide column can be used with 100% aqueous mobile phases, and provides additional retention for hydrogen bond-donor analytes such as acids, phenolics, amines, amides, etc.  The C18-Amide phase provides alternate, orthogonal selectivity compared with other ACE phases such as C18, C18-AR, C18-PFP, SuperC18, and CN-ES, which can make method development much more effective.
