ACE UltraCore SuperPhenylHexyl

ACE UltraCore™ SuperPhenylHexyl™ is a uniquely-bonded, EBT™ (Encapsulated Bonding Technology) end-capped phenyl-hexyl phase bonded to an ACE solid-core particle.  ACE UltraCore SuperPhenylHexyl retains and separates analytes by both hydrophobic and π–π interactions, and is ideal for aromatic and other unsaturated compounds—especially those with electron-withdrawing groups.  ACE UltraCore SuperPhenylHexyl provides complementary selectivity to ACE UltraCore SuperC18 across the pH range of 1.5 to 11.0.

  • Designed for use with LC-MS-compatible buffers: ultra-low bleed compared to conventional Phenyl based phases—excellent  for LC-MS applications
  • Extremely inert at low pH for excellent peak shape
  • Superior inertness and stability from pH 1.5 to 11.0
  • Fully utilize mobile phase pH to tune selectivity and improve retention for bases
  • Selectivity differences versus ACE UltraCore SuperC18 are significant at low pH
