Abstract
In this seminar, the focus will be on the HPLC / UHPLC characterization of biomolecules including: proteins, peptides, and glycosylation variants from a monoclonal antibody. A full review of a top-down and bottom-up approach to the analysis of trastuzumab will be explored. This presentation will demonstrate how ultrahigh resolution LC-MS analysis of complex biomolecule mixtures can be achieved using conditions that permit excellent separations and analysis, including the use of new fused-core HPLC and UHPLC columns specifically designed for protein analysis. In addition, the consideration of novel mobile phase selection and conditions that favor high performance mass spectral analyses will also be discussed.
